Pardon my delay in commenting, Margot. This is quite sophisticated, both in concept and execution. The edge of the sphere and the subtle shading within - and the highlight! - give it a real globe-like feel, while, pardoxically, the paling birds in the distance succeed in making the space in the globe seem infinite! Small complaint: the mountains seem a bit tame for Idaho. In my first quick look at it I thought I was at the beach. Perhaps they could have been given greater size and distance form the viewer with colour more like what you've done with the distant birds. Also - but I suppose you know more about this than I - don't migrating geese fly in formations? But those criticisms are minor. An excellent project!
