Sure, Anna, we're easy on subject matter in this course. I'm always eager to see other uses of the course's methods. And I love the character, his expression, the colour pallet, textures and irregular black 'line work.'

Hi Bill, thanks so much for the feedback. Yes the line work is lino as a key block. I am still experimenting with my approach but I am keen to combine collage paint drawn line and lino print. It might be that the feel of the bold line only suits for some subjects or mood. Doing a whole background with these thicker lines is going to be a flatter more graphic image, I think.
Anna, this image is wonderful! I love how you have got such variety into the black line. It was difficult for me to tell if it was a lino block or ink. And the colours and bg work so well. Soooo much character in Ferntosh.
