'Cheekiness' is a great word for the character Glory. Well done with that Jacinta, and I love the simplicity with which you've established her position on the lounger -
using only two feet!
I like that the wheelie bin has been included. It adds to the spontaneous, un-staged act of rebellion. But I'd be careful using a large dark area of colour in the middle of a much lighter (and delightful) colour composition. The dark shape calls attention to a 'player' in the story who should really have a minor role.
Returning to your lead character - she's a brilliant depiction of Hey, I just decided to take the darn day off , and ha ha ha!
