I agree with both Hannah's comment here and Adriana's for your first image, Jacinta. I love the bold use of line weight and engaging characters and details!
In particular, the turtle (I think it's a turtle!) and the front view you've chosen for it and the best friends behind it are both original and endearing.
Who's the professor inside the glass 'snow bubble?' I hope it's not me!
Did you use a brush-pen?
You might be crowding the text a bit, especially the title, but hey, maybe that's part of the madness!
Fine work. Keep it up!
Oh, I like these thick bold lines! They give it so much character, and it makes everything look like it's been laid down so confidently. Are those Jacqueline Wilson characters in the corner? If I'm going to say one thing, possibly for 'madness', the composition looks quite orderly? But on the other hand, I like the mantelpiece look arrangement of objects over the title too!
Thanks for the comments! Bill, yes, it's a brush pen.
As for the orderly-ness of the Kids' room - in the imaginary article this is an illustration for the writer will talk about children with OCD and the need to have all their cute worldly possessions just so:)
