Moving forward, you might even consider a face on the tree to fully bring it into the the role of a character.
You've also made good use of the fact that some creatures in a garden fly and hang on threads.
Maybe it wold pay to experiment with putting creature A partially in front of creature B. With the layers you're using, it's easy to try that out - and if you don't like the result, no harm done, you can always move the pieces around and try another arrangement.
But overall a wonderful sense of movement - and you've created a delightful world that a viewer would want to wander into and find out what goes on there!
I really like how you've done the beehive with the variation in line thickness for the outline and the shading! And also, it's cool how you've got a foreground/background effect going on with the clear beehive and the slightly more transparent (?) other characters!
