I LOVE the textures and colours in this whole series.
In this image, you've created a marvellous visual environment that somehow manages to be both imaginary and real at the same time! Imaginary, as there are no 'real' plants, rocks, earth or ponds, yet we feel we're in a particular real place that has all those!
The lion is authentic looking, and his mane is lush. I'd tidy up the left to take out the white there.
As this is a two-page spread, the centre (gutter) may be a little close to the lion.
Back to the surroundings. The colours and textures look like they've just been randomly tossed on you table, but the results are amazing. Exceptional!
