Love the overlaying colour and texture.

Me too, Maria, especially the blue-green middle to lower left, including the hints of plants.
Hannah, I'm not sure the white at the edge of the sunflower is helping you. A bit distracting, whereas the dashed white line of the bee's flight is meant to call attention to itself, do good there. Perhaps experiment with a version that eliminates the white edge?
On the other hand, the edge of the brown seed area has no line and and that results in a more sophisticated, painterly background effect.
Nice idea, nice composition. I love the scale and size of the flower relative to the dimensions of the image.

I love the colour combo here! It's very classy and the textures are really making the whole picture rich - not at all flat. I especially like the botanical elements in the bottom corner.

Great colour palette and use of texture, I like the subtle gradient on the background, makes it more interesting

I like how the different textures are used to separate different zones of the picture.

The slightly muted colours make the complexity of the background easier to take in too.
