You've achieve a strong, dynamic arrangement of your elements, but perhaps the heaviness of the tape is a tad distracting. You could always adjust the brightness of that to make it a less dominant. Or, have you tried the composition with that layer (the tape) turned off?
I look forward to seeing this developed in colour.
To all: sometimes students find when they apply colour to Assignments 1 and 1A that they don't really need so much line work. Things can get a bit crowded!
Feel free to eliminate elements or erase some lines when you're developing these projects in colour.
The materials look like they are coming out of the laptop and going in. I really like it! Also, the sneaky lamp in the back looks like it has a story to tell :D
