I like the way the pile of toys all seem to jump up along with the jack in the box. There's a naive quality to the drawings that suits the subject and the doll seems to look right at the viewer as if the doll IS the child who owns the toys.
Good point about the doll being in charge of the action, Dion. Janet, I would appreciate the teetering tower more if the pram was moved left to clearly be part of it - maybe on an angle to teeter more? Then 'her highness,' standing solidly on the upper level created by the title, is separated from her creation - as, perhaps, we wait for it to come tumbling down. But maybe that's just my training as an architect coming out. :o This definitely draws the viewer into this child's world. A last thought - maybe the boat smaller and reversed so it's sailing away from it all. To reverse left and right use Command T and right click for that option. Nice job.
