Repeating what I said when Rachel posted this image in the Facebook group:
About Rachel's image... it's quite striking! I love the use of randomly shaped/created colours, creating a dark, unsure mood. The colours textures in the face are great, and there's a wonderfully 'off-hand,' spontaneous, quality in placement of blocks of colour, the enlarged hand about to hit the button, the $ pattern on the vest. The hesitant attitude of the character is wonderfully generated by both his expression and body language. The composition, sizing of various elements and framing/cropping are are all excellent. And I think this image would certainly draw the viewer into reading the article.
