Sophisticated, subtle colour pallet, engaging line work, nice textures, patterns, cool use of collage, authentic sense of the city. I prefer these to the earlier version Linda did which had twice as much visual and text info in each illustration. One thing to look out for in a collage with news or magazine printing - or notes from a sketchbook - is that the viewer shouldn't be confused about whether or not they are supposed to read the text, or if it's there as a texture. It's good to give viewers a clue - upside down text or sideways text would be a hint that it was there as a texture. Ditto if it were scratched away in part. Enlarging the image, I can see the text isn't in English and is pixilated, so maybe it was just the size of the image in the gallery that had me confused. Overall, a very good job!
