I found this reportage assignment more fun than I thought I would... I initially thought that it was going to take ages and I haven't the necessary drawing skills to achieve something I would like. However found ways of getting a composition down - started with putting a photo of the church on Kew Green into a photoshop document and then very roughly tracing an outline of the church which then gave me a backdrop on which to drop the various different "dog walkers".
I like how you've achieved such a complex composition with quite simple drawing. I'm getting a bit overwhelmed with how much detail it is possible to get on a page so it's nice to see how well your page works....with your approach!
Hi Daryl this is a really fun piece of work and you really feel you are 'in' the picture. Love the line work and I think it's stronger in the monochrome. Thanks for your comments on my 'Pears' image - it was a bit of potato printing and dry brush work and then lots of layers! Louisa
