Nice colour palette and variation of neat shell but loose colour wash on the flippers works well - gives a feeling of swimming through the splashes. Nice!
I don't know if it is because Bill chose this for the course "logo"...but I think this turtle is one of the outstanding pieces in the coursework gallery. I like both the line drawing and the subtle blue shading.
