I like the choice of colours, the mixture of blobs and crayon. The scribbles to emphasise the maelstrom. I later deduced I should have reduced the number of objects in my coloured version to be effective, but I think by knitting together the colour comprehensively you've managed to overcome this difficulty. For me the top works well versus the bottom corner. I think you made the right choice of the three.

Nice linework! Since you asked for comments; the thing that popped out to me is that I think it would be more balanced/work better if the lamps (and title) were red.
