I agree with Nina. Also, how simple this image is, yet how endearing!
I like the way you're experimenting with outlining the images, too - cropping your artwork, as it were, but with aplomb - the bit of the chicken's comb protruding beyond the border makes this more personal (and fun) than what you'd get by merely using the crop tool.

I believe this image has a perfect combination of painting and illustration. The watercolour in the chicken and the leaves give movement to the drawing.
